On 12 November, the confirmation hearing of Executive Vice-President-designate for a Clean, Just and Competitive Transition, Teresa Ribera will take place.
The confirmation hearing will be led jointly by the ENVI, ECON and ITRE Committees. The IMCO, EMPL, TRAN, REGI and AGRI Committees are also invited to this hearing. The hearing is expected to last three hours from 18:30 to 21:30. As regards the topics in the remit of the ENVI Committee, the Executive Vice-President-designate will reply to questions concerning future initiatives such as the Clean Industrial Deal, the Circular Economy Act, the Decarbonisation Accelerator Act, and also the Chemical Industry package. She will also respond to questions on the implementation of the European Green Deal.
